The Indian tikka is a piece of jewellery worn in the hair, usually down the middle parting. More and more ladies are now wearing the tikka in their joora (bun) instead as a fashion piece. The Asian tikka comes in various styles, colours and sizes and tends to be made up of diamantes or crystals to compliment the outfit. This can be worn high up in the hair or further down on the forehead to replace the bindi.
